The Fourtunate Cats

The four of us met in the fall of 2022 at Western Michigan University. As freshmen, we had all auditioned into GCII, the junior vocal jazz ensemble in Western's internationally acclaimed Gold Company program. We quickly became friends, and found ourselves singing our GCII music around campus for fun. Starting a group seemed inevitable to us.

In Fall 2023, the Fourtunate Cats were officially born. We've been full-steam ahead ever since, finding our sound and singing as much as we can. We've performed alongside Gold Company, been featured in the WMU Jazz program's Combo Showcase, and even been invited to sing alongside Kim Nazarian of the New York Voices! We look forward to making as much music as possible, and spreading the love we all have for vocal harmony.
